This version of Quick Dry Aikido Hakama, made of Toray's patented polyester named Cubic Sensor®, gives a subtle stretch for the additional comfort of your wearing and more freedom of movement. This stretchable Cubic Sensor® fabric is the scientific material that eliminates the perspiration-induced stickiness and clinginess of traditional materials. The surface of the Cubic Sensor® fabric absorbs, disperses and evaporates perspiration from the skin, thus providing a refreshing feel during exercise. In addition, this Cubic Sensor® fabric is so lightweight that you will have more smooth action.

With Ukemi in mind, the Koshiita insert is made of a tough and flexible rubber composite that has been engineered to maintain its shape and prevent injury at the same time. The Obi is reinforced by seven lines of stitching which work to prevent tearing and/or kinking. With a more durable Obi, you can also fasten your Hakama more securely. (The front Obi length can be modified, if your waist is over 95cm, we recommend to choose longer front Obi. )

We have also tailored the front of our Hakama to be slightly shorter than the back and it allows for smooth, worry-free movement. Available in black and navy.

To determine your Hakama size, measure between the top hip bone and the anklebone in standing position. This length is approximately equivalent to the length between the bottom of rear obi and rear hem. Refer then to the size chart shown above.
